Words with an initial capital letter have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the words appear in singular or plural form.

- Consumer – For CCPA/CPRA purposes, a natural person who is a California resident.
- Cookies – Small files placed on your computer, mobile device, or other device by a website, containing details of your browsing history on that website.

- Device – Any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.
- Do Not Track (DNT) – A concept promoted by US regulatory authorities for the Internet industry to develop a mechanism allowing internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites.
- Personal Data – Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Sale – For CCPA/CPRA purposes, selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating a Consumer’s personal information to another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. - Service – Refers to the Application or the Website, or both.
- Service Provider – Any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company.

When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may also collect the type of mobile device, mobile device unique ID, mobile IP address, mobile operating system, mobile browser type, and other diagnostic data.

Cookies can be “Persistent” (remain on your device when you go offline) or “Session” (deleted when you close your browser). We may use automated tools or artificial intelligence-powered tools, including chat-based features, to respond to user inquiries, provide customer support, and improve the functionality of our Service. Usage and analytics data is retained for internal analysis purposes and is generally kept for a shorter period unless otherwise required by law or business need. Unless otherwise required by law or contract, we regularly review data held in our systems and either delete or deidentify information that is no longer necessary for the purpose described herein.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside your state, province, country, or governmental jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ. Such transfers are conducted an accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Deleting Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

Analytics
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. GA4 uses an event-based data model and sets a _ga cookie with a randomly generated, anonymized Client ID in your browser. This ID contains no personally identifiable information such as email, phone number, or name. Google Analytics processes IP addresses transiently to determine location before truncation or anonymization, in accordance with Google’s GA4 settings. We use Google Analytics to track aggregated website behavior, such as pages viewed, session duration, and navigation patterns. Pendo
Pendo is a product analytics service provided by Pendo.io, Inc. We use Pendo within the ITS Platform and our mobile applications to understand how users interact with our products, track feature usage, and improve the user experience. Pendo collects Usage Data such as pages visited, features used, click behavior, session duration, browser type, device type, and IP address. Pendo also receives pseudonymous visitor ID and account-level identifiers. Direct identifiers such as full name or email are only shared if configured by the client or required for support and analytics purposes, to provide usage analytics at the individual and account level. Pendo may also be used to deliver in-app guides, tooltips, and announcements to users within the Service. Email Marketing
We may use your personal data to send newsletters and promotional materials. You may opt out by following the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

Usage, Performance and Miscellaneous
Invisible reCAPTCHA
We use Google’s invisible reCAPTCHA service for security purposes. Information gathered by reCAPTCHA is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
Training and Compliance Data
As a provider of operator qualification (OQ) compliance training for the pipeline and energy industry, we collect and process data specific to the delivery of our Service. This includes training completion records, evaluation scores, qualification status, task proficiencies, and related compliance documentation for individual users. This data is collected on behalf of our clients (typically operators and utilities) and is managed in accordance with the terms of individual client agreements, applicable pipeline safety regulations, and this Privacy Policy. Retention periods for this data are governed by those client agreements and any applicable regulatory requirements.

Sale of Personal Information of Minors Under 16
We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16. We do not sell the personal information of consumers known to be under 16 without affirmative authorization from the consumer (if 13-16) or a parent/guardian (if under 13). To report a concern, contact us.
