Key strategic moves position ITS for continued expansion into the larger energy market.
MURRAY, KY, April 28, 2021: Industrial Training Services (ITS), a leading provider of compliance management solutions for the pipeline industry, announces two strategic moves to enhance the executive management team. Jason Garland and Wade Balmer now serve in the newly-created roles of VP of Business Development and VP of Operations, respectively.
Mr. Garland has spent over a decade at ITS leading the sales efforts, helping it grow from a regional business to a national compliance powerhouse. He works closely with industry operators and contractors to streamline their compliance efforts using OnBoard® technology. He is a member of various state, education, and OQ committees such as the ASME B31Q Standards Committee and API OQ Working Group, and previously served on the Tennessee Gas Association Board of Directors. Prior to working for ITS, Mr. Garland owned and operated his own construction company.
Mr. Balmer previously led Evaluator Operations and the Train the Trainer compliance program at ITS, working directly with ITS-authorized proctors and evaluators to ensure operator qualifications given through ITS programs are accurate, effective, efficient, and consistent. He has helped build and strengthen partnerships with industry-leading, national training providers who offer OQ services using ITS programs. During his tenure at ITS, Mr. Balmer has also worked in sales and business development and has served as the “voice” of the ITS eLearning courses since 2006.
