The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) announced the appointment of ITS Learning Strategist Dr. Robert Lyons as one of several new members to the Commission for accreditation to the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard for Continuing Education & Training (the Standard).
IACET Commissioners administer the IACET Accreditation process through a rigorous review of applications and focused site visits to verify the accuracy of the information provided by the applicant. Organizations approved as IACET Accredited Providers may award internationally recognized CEUs.
“I look forward to serving IACET in this role, contributing to the IACET mission,” says Dr. Lyons. “High-quality continuing education and training is critical to our workforce, and I am excited to do what I can to support the efforts of providers to meet the needs of their students.”
