Natural Gas Leakage and Corrosion Control
Technician Certificate Program

The Certificate for Natural Gas Leakage and Corrosion Control Technician prepares the student for performing job tasks in the following areas of natural gas leakage and corrosion control:

  • Work related safety
  • Investigating and controlling gas leaks
  • Installing cathodic protection systems
  • Monitoring cathodic protection systems
Classroom instruction and documented related skill performance prepares students to perform job related tasks at the technician level. Persons completing the program are “operator qualified” on related covered tasks according to 49 CFR, Part 192, Subpart N.
